Our story

Built one shipment at a time.

GFS started in 1998 as a small office in Jordan, booking containers for a handful of Jordanian exporters.

We grew the way serious forwarders do: by taking the shipments others found too complicated and getting them right. One lane became many. Agents abroad became partners. Today the same team that started with local exporters moves cargo by sea, air and land to every continent, and brings it back into Jordan.

    How quickly will I get a rate?

    Within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your cargo details, route and ready date. The quote includes the sailing dates available.

    Do you ship by air and by land?

    Yes. We ship by sea, air and land. Air suits urgent and high-value cargo, and our trucking network covers inland transport and routes across the region.

    Do you handle imports into Jordan?

    Yes, from any origin. When the cargo arrives we collect the delivery order from the shipping line, clear it through customs and truck it to your warehouse.

    What documents do I need to ship?

    Usually a commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Some cargo needs more, such as health certificates for food. Use the document checklist above, or ask us about your shipment.

    Telex release or original bill of lading?

    A telex release lets the importer collect the cargo without the paper B/L, once the shipper confirms. An original B/L is couriered, and the importer must present it at destination to collect the cargo. We help you choose based on payment terms and timing.

    Can you ship refrigerated or dangerous goods?

    Yes. We book reefer containers for temperature-sensitive cargo and ship dangerous goods, such as vehicles with batteries, with the declarations they require.
